A few years ago we worked on an on-line teaching project with the Politecnico di Torino University, developing an on-line learning system, called Gino LMS.
The platform we created has a very simple and easy method to create, manage and supply on-line courses.
During the years Gino LMS has grown and became more sophisticated. We use it in industrial and corporate training programs and, recently, in medical and scientific teaching.
Beside the pure platform we also offer a few services (that can be used on other platform as well):
Needs definition
On-line learning can be exclusive, which means complete self learning, or preparatory to traditional off-line classes, for example when there is the need for all the students to be at the same level. We can also provide follow up after teaching sessions.
Contents development
Being publishers, we have specific skills in contents development. On-line learning needs the design to accurately understand the flow of the contents and the alternation of different media (text, images, videos, animations). We can study the best way to organize this flow and produce the rich media contents needed.
Students management
In e-learning everything can be automatic, but in most of cases there is the need to have a human-human relationship at the beginning and/or during the supply. We have developed tools and methods to adequately meet this need.
Report
Of course Gino LMS produces reports, analysis and certificates. This is automatic and students can have it as soon as they pass the test.
